Mainsail Prefeeder And Boltrope

Is there anything out there to replace the metal prefeeder that is tearing up our boltrope on our mainsail. I know we are not the only one in our fleet. Any ideas for a replacement?

Is there anything out there to replace the metal prefeeder that is tearing up our boltrope on our mainsail. I know we are not the only one in our fleet. Any ideas for a replacement?

 

Did you try bending the prefeeder out a bit on both sides?  This was a good solution for me.  Just wondering what sailmaker are you using?
