Has anyone used a fairlead instead? skiemele Posted August 18, 2015 Report Share Posted August 18, 2015 I installed a couple of the 29mm Harkins in the corners. Thru-bolted in deck. Use ni-lock nuts and fender washers below and cut off the screws flush with the bolt heads with a Dremel tool. They work well to open up the hatch. Also, install a loop of shock cord to lift the vang up to the boom when the vang is slack. Not convenient to take pictures right now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
